Estantería

La estantería Piray toma su nombre de la región homónima en la provincia de Misiones, en Argentina dentro de la Selva Paranaense, donde el bosque se organiza como una acumulación continua de troncos que construyen la espesura a partir de la proximidad y la repetición. La pieza retoma esa lógica mediante una serie de montantes verticales que establecen un orden abierto y continuo.

Realizada en madera proveniente de Misiones, la reiteración define una trama capaz de sostener y organizar libros y objetos sin recurrir a planos cerrados, construyendo un sistema claro y versátil.

The Piray shelving unit takes its name from the region of the same name in the province of Misiones in Argentina, within the Atlantic Forest, where the forest is structured as a continuous accumulation of trunks that form density through proximity and repetition. The piece draws from this logic through a series of vertical uprights that establish an open and continuous order.

Made from wood sourced in Misiones, repetition defines a framework capable of supporting and organizing books and objects without relying on closed planes, creating a clear and versatile system.
