ESCENAS DE RECONSTRUCCIÓN. DISEÑO EN EL CENTRO CULTURAL SAN MARTÍN 1960 - 1980

Exhibición

A través de piezas y documentos, la exposición recupera la historia proyectual del Centro Cultural y del Teatro San Martín, poniendo en diálogo su patrimonio mobiliario, arquitectónico y artístico con el archivo de diseño de Fundación IDA.

Escenas de Reconstrucción repasa los sucesos y las instituciones que formaron parte de sus inicios y su entorno cultural, entre los que se encuentra el Estudio CH de Alberto Churba, el Estudio González Ruiz-Shakespear, el Centro de Investigaciones en Comunicación Masiva, Arte y Tecnología (CICMAT), las exhibiciones del Centro de Investigación Diseño Industrial (CIDI) en el Museo Moderno —cuya sede funcionó temporalmente en el Teatro San Martín— y el sistema del Estudio MMB para el centro de prensa del Mundial '78.

Through pieces and documents, the exhibition recovers the project history of the Centro Cultural and the Teatro San Martín, bringing into dialogue its furniture, architectural, and artistic heritage with the design archive of Fundación IDA.

Escenas de Reconstrucción reviews the events and institutions that were part of its beginnings and its cultural environment, including the CH Studio of Alberto Churba, the González Ruiz-Shakespear Studio, the Center for Research in Mass Communication, Art, and Technology (CICMAT), the exhibitions of the Center for Industrial Design Research (CIDI) at the Museo Moderno —whose temporary headquarters were in the Teatro San Martín— and the MMB Studio's system for the press center of the 1978 World Cup.
